Michael "Mike" DeWan, DDS
Mike is committed to listening to your needs and giving you high quality, efficient, cost-effective dental care. He spends at least 2 days each month in continuing education. Three areas of concern in the continued education of our whole team are:
- To stay abreast of rapidly changing technologies. We study all new technologies to bring you the best, most efficient and cost-effective ways to diagnose and treat dental diseases.
- To advance work in dental aesthetics. Cosmetic dentistry blends art and science to create a beautiful, lasting smile for you.
- To intensively study jaw mechanics. Research shows that no matter how beautiful a smile is, if the jaw and teeth do not act in harmony, overall health is compromised.

He also studied at:
- Boston University and the Las Vegas Institute for Endodontic (Root Canal Treatment) Studies
- The Dawson Academy which is dedicated to teaching the principles and skills necessary for the successful practice of complete, quality, predictable dentistry with primary concentration on occlusion and the TMJ. Mike began studying at The Dawson Academy in 2001 and has completed all seven levels of training there. Currently, he is in advanced study with the center and with the Piper Education and Research Center.
Mike lives in the Downer Avenue neighborhood where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lora Keller (our CEO), and their son, Will.
