Laser technology

Lasers have been used in dentistry for many years to diagnose and treat a number of dental problems. All lasers work by delivering energy in the form of light.

We use lasers primarily for diagnostics and soft tissue management. For unrestored teeth, the Diagnodent laser detects decay before we can see it even with magnification. The benefit for you is we remove less tooth structure and, the less tooth structure removed, the healthier your tooth.

We use a soft tissue laser during routine procedures to help achieve more ideal gum shapes and to decrease bacteria when treating gum diseases.
