Dental Implants
Crown/Bridge Technology . . . restoring lost teeth

One lost or severely fractured tooth can affect your whole mouth. Fracture can allow bacteria to enter the tooth and cause an infection which could lead to root canal treatment or, ultimately, loss of the tooth. When you lose a tooth, your other teeth shift to fill in the space, risking loss of other teeth. In addition, bone support is lost which changes facial contours. We offer implants, crowns, bridges, partials and dentures to reduce the risks.

Dental Implants

For more than 40 years dental implants have created naturally beautiful, confident smiles. A dental implant is a small titanium pin or cylinder which is surgically placed in the upper or lower jawbone. The implant replaces the root of the missing tooth, providing an anchor for your new tooth/teeth. Many people choose dental implants over other procedures because the result is a natural appearance with more permanent function.

All the Advantages Nature Intended

Implant dentistry is the most advanced therapy available to replace teeth. In addition to looking and feeling like real teeth, dental implants allow you to:

  • Improve your smile
  • Eat the foods you enjoy
  • Speak with greater ease
  • Restore your facial structure
  • Enjoy an active lifestyle.
Treatment Advancements

Recent innovations in implant technology have greatly improved implant procedures and dramatically improved the success rate of implants to more than 98%.

We perform a complete examination involving x-rays to determine if implants are right for you. Once your specific needs are assessed, you can schedule an appointment for a consultation where we'll discuss your options and decide which treatment plan is best for you. Depending on your needs, your treatment may be completed in three steps.

Step 1
An oral surgeon or periodontist places an implant into your jawbone. The implant replaces the natural tooth root and provides structural support.

Step 2
We make models of your mouth which are sent to the laboratory to create your replacement tooth/teeth.

Step 3
We will then attach your replacement tooth/teeth. The result is the look and feel of natural teeth. Chewing and speech is restored or improved, while bone structure is preserved

Take Care and Smile

Regardless of whether you are having one or several teeth replaced, caring for your implant(s) is critical. Regular cleaning involving brushing, flossing, and rinsing is essential. Implants require routine re-care visits with us just as your natural teeth do.

Crowns and Bridges

A crown is commonly referred to as a "cap" because it is designed to cover the whole tooth and protect it from further fracture. Porcelain and porcelain-fused to high noble metals are the two major types of crowns.

A bridge replaces a missing tooth by "bridging" the space. Typically, it consists of two crowns which are attached to existing teeth with a “pontic” or false tooth in the middle.

Bridges also are fabricated from porcelain and porcelain-fused to high noble metals.
